“Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the members of the judicial bodies: “The rights of Egyptians are entrusted to you.”

“President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met this morning with members of the Supreme Council of Judicial Authorities and Bodies, in the presence of Counselor Omar Marwan, Minister of Justice.”
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the meeting came within the framework of celebrating the ancient Egyptian Judiciary Day, which was approved by the state in appreciation of the role played by judicial authorities and bodies in consolidating and protecting constitutional principles and upholding the rule of law.
During the meeting, Mr. President affirmed that the rights of Egyptians are entrusted to the judiciary, which has a responsibility to achieve justice, social peace, security, and stability, which is a fundamental pillar in the progress of nations. Mr. President also indicated that the state is keen on the independence of the judiciary and non-interference in its affairs as a consistent approach, and always seeks to develop, modernize and enhance its capabilities, to be an advanced judicial system, in line with the course of the times and its developments, and to conduct its procedures with the required speed.
The official spokesman added that the members of the Supreme Council of Judicial Bodies expressed their gratitude for Mr. President’s keenness to meet with them within the framework of the Judiciary Day celebration, as this represents the great interest that the Egyptian state gives to the judicial system, stressing for their part that they will continue to work in the context of consolidating the principles of justice and application of the law. Because of the importance this represents in building and developing society and achieving equality among all members of society, in addition to prioritizing the interest of the nation over any other considerations, within the framework of the new republic that inaugurates the values of truth and justice and establishes the rule of law.
The heads of judicial authorities and bodies reviewed the measures that have been taken to expedite the completion of cases and requests to reach the stage of timely justice, as well as the technical development procedures that have been taken in all judicial authorities and bodies in coordination with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to implement the automation of the entire judicial system.
On the other hand, Mr. President stressed preserving the prestige of the judiciary in form and substance, paying attention to court headquarters and developing the tools to work in them, stressing the need to pay attention to developing awareness and continuous development to expand perceptions to form a modern judge with a great deal of knowledge and awareness.
For his part, Mr. Counselor Omar Marwan, Minister of Justice, explained that the judiciary during the era of Mr. President witnessed unprecedented attention, appreciation, and development, and that there are hopes that have been fulfilled for the judicial system, the most important of which is appointing women and honoring distinguished judiciary men. He pointed out that there are hopes and ambitions targeted, including continued mechanization. All courts at the republic level, electronic networking of judicial authorities and bodies with each other, as well as the exchange of information and work governance between them, and among the ambitions is also the move to the City of Justice in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Counselor Boulos Fahmi Iskandar, President of the Supreme Constitutional Court, Mr. Counselor Muhammad Eid Mahjoub, Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Mr. Counselor Adel Fahim Azab, President of the State Council, Mr. Counselor Hamada Al-Sawy, Attorney General, and Mr. Counselor Muhammad Muhammad Bakr, Chairman of the State Lawsuits Authority. Mr. Counselor Adly Abdel Fattah Zayed, Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, Mr. Counselor Mohamed Hussein Abdel Tawab, President of the Cairo Court of Appeal, Mr. Major General Hatem Al-Jazzar, Head of the Military Judicial Authority, and Mr. Counselor Najah Moussa, First Assistant Minister of Justice and Secretary-General of the Council of Judicial Bodies.
