Counselor Adel Azab, Chairman of the State Council, appreciated the strong fraternal relations between Egypt and Jordan, pointing out the important role played by the State Council in strengthening the rule of law under the new republic. This came during the President of the State Council’s reception, today, of a high-level delegation from the Court of Cassation in the Kingdom. The Jordanian Hashemite Court, headed by Judge Muhammad Omar Muqansa, Director General of the Technical Office of the Court of Cassation, in order to learn about the experience of the State Council as an independent judicial body responsible for monitoring legitimacy and achieving administrative justice, in light of the Kingdom’s tendency to draw inspiration from this experience in developing the Jordanian judicial system. This is according to a statement issued by the State Council. The members of the Jordanian judicial delegation expressed their appreciation for the great level of judicial cooperation between the two brotherly countries. During the visit, the work departments of the State Council were reviewed, especially the General Assembly of the Fatwa and Legislation Departments, its office, the Council and the courts, and the members of the delegation were provided with the modern rulings of the State Council and the laws.
